From a childhood sketch predicting my place on stage at the age of ten to my high school days as a DJ, the microphone always captivated me. However, in 1982, life threw me a curveball when my family relocated to Alberta, I didn't speak English and that shattered self-confidence. In 1983, I also came out as gay, in Fort McMurray!
It took over three decades for me to reclaim the microphone, but when I did, it was nothing short of magical. For more than a decade now, I've been sharing stories — at my own events, as a keynote speaker, and as an Emcee. This journey embodies Inspired Living, as my passion lies in empowering women to discover their voices and share their stories, fueled by a deep understanding of the profound impact of storytelling.
Your story matters to me. Welcome to Inspired Living.
I always knew I would be on stage.
I always knew I would be on stage. I even wrote it down in a drawing when I was just ten years old. As a teen I was a DJ in my highschool and loved being on the mic.
In 1982 my world was turned upside down when my family moved to Alberta. I did not speaking a word of English and I lost my self-confidence. It took me over 30 years to speak at the mic again. But when I did it was magical! I now have been sharing stories for more than 10 years at my own events, as a keynote speaker and an Emcee. My passion is to help women find their voice and share their stories because I understand the power of storytelling.
